Who we are
BEAM Global ("BEAM," "we") operates the BEAM platform at beamtest.top — digital infrastructure for Black advancement. Contact: privacy@beamhq.co.
What we collect
- Account & identity: your name, email, and city, provided at sign-up through our authentication provider, Clerk.
- What you deliberately tell BEAM: your interests and intents, your Compass focus and desired outcomes, your goals, your progress notes, the memories and chapters you explicitly choose to keep, and your Tending answers. You author all of it; BEAM never infers it.
- Platform activity: which opportunities and institutions you interact with inside BEAM, so we can serve and explain recommendations.
- Technical logs: standard request logs (including IP address) processed by our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare.
What we refuse to collect
By constitutional design, BEAM does not collect: health or medical records, financial or credit data, biometric data, precise location, behavioral-advertising profiles, attention or engagement surveillance, voice recordings, or immersive/avatar telemetry. We do not use third-party analytics or ad trackers — there are none on this platform.
How your information is used
Only to run BEAM for you: authentication, your daily briefing, explainable matching to verified institutions and opportunities, and your own records. Our AI voice (Cloudflare Workers AI) receives only a small set of facts derived from what you gave BEAM — never raw records, never another member's data. Every recommendation shows its reasons and sources.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never sell your attention. We never show your information to another member without your consent. We never score or rank your life. Sponsors and partners only ever see aggregate counts, never member-level data.
Service providers
Clerk (authentication and sessions), Cloudflare (hosting, database, AI processing — all platform data is processed and stored on Cloudflare infrastructure), and Zoho (email). We do not share your data with anyone else.
Retention and deletion
Your records exist for the life of your account, under your control: memories, chapters, and goals can be individually and permanently deleted at any time. You can delete your entire account from your profile page — deletion is real deletion: every record you created is removed, and your authentication account is deleted. The only retained trace is a content-free security audit entry. Encrypted backups of the database age out on a fixed schedule (12 weeks weekly / 12 months monthly).
Export
A self-service export of your records is planned; until it ships, email us and we will provide your data in a portable format.
Cookies and storage
We use only what sign-in requires: Clerk session cookies/storage and a service worker for offline shell caching. No advertising or tracking cookies exist.
Age
BEAM is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Future features
Planned capabilities that would touch new categories of information — wellness features, document uploads, agent conversations, avatars, or spatial experiences — will each require separate, explicit consent before any new collection begins, and this policy will be updated first.
Jurisdiction and changes
BEAM operates from the United States (Texas). We will post any changes to this policy here with a new effective date; material changes will be announced in the platform.
